Wilmington, DE 鈥 兔子先生系列麻豆 (GBC) is pleased to announce receiving a grant for $19,500 from the Eagles Autism Foundation for a Sensory Inclusive鈩 Certification and Sensory Room Enhancement at the College.
The Sensory Inclusive鈩 Certification and Sensory Room Enhancement project is an exciting step forward for the College to support, not only our neurodiverse students, but the entire college community.
This space is designed for students who experience sensory sensitivities or simply need a quiet, calming place to recharge. This initiative reinforces GBC鈥檚 commitment to student well-being, ensuring every student feels supported and has access to the resources they need to succeed. The College has partnered with KultureCity 庐 for both projects.
鈥淎s the dean of students, I am thrilled to share that we are officially moving forward with fulfilling our grant goals in partnership with KultureCity庐 through the Eagles Autism Foundation,鈥 said Jocelyn E. Moses (Byers-Smith). 鈥淭his initiative will bring a much-needed sensory space to our campus 鈥 one designed to support individuals with sensory processing needs, providing a welcoming environment for all.鈥
Moses (Byers-Smith) said, 鈥淭his space will be a game-changer for, not only the students and the campus community, but also the greater Wilmington area.鈥 She continued, 鈥淪ensory accessibility is essential to create the kind of learning environment that helps all students to succeed. We are honored to be a part of this transformative work.鈥
The $19,500 grant awarded to GBC is part of $8.1 million in funding awarded by the Eagles Autism Foundation in 2025 to support 53 innovative projects focused on advancing autism research and care. These grants were made possible through the generous contributions raised during the 2024 Eagles Autism Challenge, along with additional fundraising efforts led by the foundation throughout the year.

The College began accepting students into three new degree programs in spring 2024: Bachelor of Science in Human Resource Management, Master of Science in Human Resource Management, and an MBA Major in Human Resource Management. The College also began offering fully online options for students in the following degree programs: MBA Analytical Track (STEM-designated), traditional MBA program concentration areas, and the MS in Human Resource Management. Additionally, the College offers 21 certificate programs.
The College is committed to connecting its graduates with careers in their respective fields.
